The president of the University of Basra, professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, honored the dean of the college, assistant professor Dr. Ali Abdullah al-Kanani with a certificate of thanks and appreciation at the ceremony held at the university presidency building on the occasion of the University obtaining the first place on Iraqi universities and for the third time in a row in the British Times Impact rating .
The honor came as a result of the college's role in obtaining advanced positions in the Times rating, the latest of which was that the College ranked second in the world ranking at the higher education Oscar ceremony held in Japan .
