Eight Iraqi universities achieve competitive positions in the Times ranking of Asian universities

Eight Iraqi universities have achieved important competitive positions in the Times Asian universities ranking for 2023.

Official results included(https://www.timeshighereducation.com/world-university-rankings/2023/regional-ranking#!/length/25/locations/IRQ/sort_by/rank/sort_order/asc/cols/stats) an assessment of six hundred and sixty - nine universities from thirty - one countries, including Iraq, where the University of Babylon came in 199th place, then the Technological University in 251-300, followed by Anbar University in 301-350, the Universities of Baghdad, Mosul and al-Mustansiriya in 501-600, Basra and Kufa 601 + Asian.

It is worth mentioning that the Times ranking of Asian universities assesses universities according to 5 basic criteria: Education 25%, scientific research 30%, citations 30%, international outlook 7.5% and knowledge transfer 7.5%.

It is worth mentioning that Iraqi universities and colleges register their increasing competition in the global rankings, including the Shanghai Ranking of Academic Subjects, in which the University of Baghdad appeared within the specialty of chemical engineering, the (The Times) rating, in which there are eight universities, the(QS) rating, in which there are five universities, the (Green Metric) rating, in which seventy-three Iraqi universities and colleges entered, and theنيفa rating, in which there are four Iraqi universities Webometrics), which recorded the attendance and competition of more than a hundred Iraqi universities and colleges.
