His doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Basra discussed the strategies of social engineering in the transformations of contemporary global formation.

The thesis presented by the researcher Ammar Sabah Abdullah included the concept of social engineering and its strategies in the transformation of Contemporary Art by investigating the origin of this concept and how it represents and methods of application in the fields of modern society. 

The thesis aims to demonstrate a new study that investigates the methods of social engineering in general and their effectiveness in contemporary art in particular as a tool to guide the culture of society.

The thesis concluded that the concept of cultural substitution expands by promoting or exploiting ethereal communication behaviors in the virtual environment, or it may be a proposal to replace the cultural and social circulation pattern of the nature of artistic content.
