The minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, directed all public and private universities to suspend the second round exams from the first of next September until the ninth of the same month, in conjunction with the peak of the mass momentum moving towards Holy Karbala from all provinces of Iraq in commemoration of the holy visit on the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein and his family and supporters, peace be upon them all.

In this regard, the Ministry confirms that it authorizes the university councils to process and adapt the requirements of the second round exams according to the requirements of completing this file and the necessary preparations for the start of the new academic year.
