
A master's thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University discussed the reflection of proxemics on the performance of an actor in a contemporary theatrical performance.
The thesis presented by the researcher Hussein Abdul Hamid Hashim included the concept of proxemics, which refers to the cultural exchange in human societies through the use of this space to address multiple cultures to overcome the problem of domination and submission to the being of the local culture that is closed to itself, as in the static proxemics appearance.
The thesis aims to address the manifestations of the proximal space and search for the specificity of each manifestation, and address the dynamics of distance and its divisions within the proximity mechanism and highlight the mechanisms of approach and spacing within those distances
The thesis concluded that the overlap of the properties of the quasi-static proximetric profile with the properties of the static proximetric profile through the process of balancing the material components according to place, Mass and density.
