
A master's thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra discussed the new techniques in the pottery and ceramics of ancient Iraq (biblical periods as a model)
The thesis presented by the researcher Iman Hikmat mutashir included the topic of the techniques developed in the pottery and ceramics of ancient Iraq in the biblical periods, namely from the Sumerian period to the Neo-Babylonian period and revealing the quantitative and qualitative diversity in the industries of ancient Iraq, especially the handling of raw materials and their technical processing.
The message aims to reveal the techniques that the ancient Iraqi man worked in the field of pottery and ceramics and their development after he recorded his social and cultural ideas and concepts of life, including religious rituals.
The letter concluded by revealing the reasons that led to the interruption of the conical pottery nails with colored clay to find other ways to organize the wall, including Wall clay molds and glazed external surfaces.
