The minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, honored today, Wednesday, October السيد the Scientific Assistant and vice-president of the University of Basra, A.Dr. Ali Hussein was nominated for the Science Day Award for obtaining the University of Basra the second place locally at the level of Iraqi universities.

He praised the efforts of all professors throughout Iraq and in all fields of pure sciences, engineering, medical, agricultural, veterinary, humanitarian, administrative and economic.

Al-Aboudi also stressed the need to improve quality indicators and enhance scientific research and its tools in all fields and in all our ancient universities.
