Under the patronage of the president of Basra University, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and the supervision of the dean of the College of Fine Arts, assistant professor Dr. Ali Abdullah al-Kanani, and within the activities of the Annual Scientific seasons of the College of art education, the Department organized a ceremony to honor the first students of all academic stages in the presence of the dean's assistants for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Maher al-ketaibani and administrative affairs, professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Abdul Thabet al-Baydani, teaching staff and a large number of students and University guests on Thursday, 9-11-2023.
The ceremony included the playing of the national anthem, the recitation of any of the wise dhikr, and then the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha, after which a number of teachers presented their words to congratulate their distinguished students who continued their efforts and continued to attend the lesson in order to make the most of the teachers ' giving and to increase their knowledge to enhance the chances of success in their future lives in various fields of work and knowledge, wishing them a successful and distinguished educational career.
The ceremony witnessed a number of cultural events and the distribution of awards to the first students.
