Under the patronage of the president of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, assistant professor Dr. Ali Abdullah al-Kanani.
The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra-women's Empowerment unit in cooperation with the health center / Bab Al-Zubair complex organized a practical workshop on teaching glaucoma in the presence of a group of students and faculty members.
The workshop, presented by Khadija Faisal Shoukry, head of the Women Empowerment unit at the college, was attended by Dr. Zainab Tarek Mohsen, director of the health center, medical assistant Batool Fadel Issa, and medical assistant Sabreen Mansour Jaber, to raise awareness of the community about not buying external needles purchased from pharmacies without a prescription and the supervision of a specialist doctor.
The workshop aims to provide comprehensive awareness about glaucoma and also the necessity of periodic screening for early detection of breast cancer.
