Through the message of the presidency of the University of Basra and the Faculty of Fine Arts to open up to the community and build bridges of communication, the Faculty of Fine Arts-Department of audio and Visual Arts in cooperation with the Departments of art education and plastic arts held a workshop (rehabilitation with art) for the wounded of the Popular Mobilization at the Jafar Al-Tayar rehabilitation complex under the supervision of professors Dr. Ayman Kazem mughames, head of the Department of audio and visual arts and A.Dr. Saifuddin Abdul Wadud and M.Dr. Saif Nasr al-Mousawi and M.M a patient rebel an inch.
The visit aims at rehabilitating the wounded, developing competencies, skills and talents, providing psychological and moral support to the wounded, trying to identify their desires and ambitions and seeking to help them achieve them, as well as in order to remove the negative energies inherent in the patient and the pressures inside and then improve his physical, mental and psychological condition. 
The visit was very effective in terms of the interaction of the wounded and their willingness to participate in the events provided by the students, as well as the request to repeat such activities periodically for them.
