The Department of musical arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra held the annual concert of students 'and professors' productions for the academic year ٢٠٢٣-٢٠٢٤ on Monday, 29-4-2024 at the great arts theater hall.
The ceremony began with a speech by the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, assistant professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Abdul Thabet al-Baydani, thanking this magnificent Department for its impressive performance by the creativity of its distinguished professors and students, wishing them continued success and creativity in their artistic and academic career, and then a word to the head of the Department, Mr.M. Ali Kassem, who in turn praised the students of the Department for their excellence and diligence throughout the academic year accompanied by their creative teachers. After that, a number of musical events started, including solo and group singing, pieces by teachers and various choir groups for all stages of morning and evening classes.
In turn, the dean honored the professors of the department who received scientific promotions, and the ceremony was attended by the faculty's professors, staff and students.
