The Department of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Basra University organized an exhibition for doctoral graduate students –sculpture branch, which was held in the Great Exhibition Hall and opened by the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dr. Abdul Sattar Abdul Thabet al-Baydani.
The exhibition aims to present stylistically diverse and clearly processed aesthetic and intellectual monuments embodied in their formal and thematic compositions on topics directly related to social, cultural and economic reality.
The exhibition included mock-up designs for sculptural monuments that embodied several themes, including the monument of the martyr, the teacher, the University and the economic monument, which is the result of the products of four students under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Baha Abdul Hussein Majid.
