As part of his continuous efforts to develop and improve the infrastructure of the Faculty of Fine Arts, the dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, conducted an inspection tour to the Department of audio and visual arts accompanied by the Scientific Assistant Prof. Dr. Maher Abdul Jabbar and the head of the Department, Assistant Prof. Dr. Ayman Kazim.
The purpose of the visit was to identify the current and future needs of the department, ensure the readiness of the infrastructure and prepare the teaching staff to receive students in the new academic year. During the tour, the dean and the head of the department inspected the existing laboratories and briefed them on the available equipment, where they discussed the importance of updating the equipment and providing a suitable educational environment.
The project of establishing new practical laboratories within the department was also discussed, as well as the development of new classrooms in the new faculty of Arts building.the dean stressed that the opening of these halls will greatly contribute to improving the quality of education and providing suitable spaces for practical and theoretical learning.
At the end of the visit, the Dean expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts of the educational and administrative staff in the department, and stressed the importance of teamwork to achieve the goals of the college and meet the needs of students. He stressed that work will be accelerated to implement the necessary projects to ensure the readiness of the department before the start of the new academic year.
This tour comes within the plan of the Faculty of Fine Arts to enhance the level of education and provide an innovative educational environment that meets the needs of students and contributes to the development of their artistic skills.
