The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra continues to receive and test new advanced students for the academic year 2024-2025, in its other departments, which include performing arts, musical arts, and audio-visual arts. 
This test includes students who are graduates of the Preparatory School in its branches, as well as students of the Technical Institute who are seeking to join one of the college's specialized programs.
The tests were conducted under the direct supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed and the heads of the concerned departments, along with the supervisory committees that were formed specifically for this purpose. The tests focused on the practical and theoretical aspects of the applicants, through committees divided according to each specialty to ensure a comprehensive and accurate assessment of the talents and abilities of students.
The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra is one of the most prominent academic institutions that seeks to develop the Arts in various forms, and is working to provide innovative educational programs that keep pace with modern developments in various artistic fields.the continuation of the testing process comes as part of the college's keenness to provide an educational environment based on creativity and innovation.
The names of the accepted students will also be announced after studying their results and evaluating their performance by the relevant committees, to be part of the college's distinguished community for the new academic year.
