The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra, represented by its dean, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, and the teaching and career staff, participated in a stand of solidarity with the Lebanese people, in confirmation of its position in support of the Lebanese cause and the martyrdom of Mr. Hoss.N Text.God is the Lord of resistance.
In the presence of the president of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad al-Asadi and members of the University Council, the participants expressed their solidarity with the Lebanese people and the importance of unity in the face of the Zionist enemy. It was also emphasized the need to support oppressed peoples and promote human values.
The pause ended with feelings of hope and solidarity, as the president of the University stressed the continued material and moral support for the Lebanese people in their plight.
