A master's thesis at Basra University examines the expressive features in the work of the artist Saleh Karim

A master's thesis in the College of Fine Arts at Basra University examined the expressive features in the work of artist Saleh Karim.

The message presented by the researcher, Illusions Hamid Kamel, included four chapters. The first chapter included the aim of the research, which is to reveal the features that the artist, Salih Karim adopts, to express his intellectual and aesthetic readings in his plastic paintings.

As for the second chapter, it dealt with the theoretical framework and previous studies .. The researcher studied the concept of expression between references and work, with a cognitive narrative supporting the research topic.

The third chapter describes the research procedures, where the researcher analyzes the samples and an aesthetic analysis in order to reach accurate results that serve the current research.

The fourth chapter presents the findings, conclusions and recommendations.

The research concluded that the artist Saleh Karim presented works with aesthetic expressive features despite their simplicity and the reduction of the elements of the work to present them in an expressive unit with scenes of facts, stories of characters, national identity and cultural heritage.

The research recommended ... the expressive features in the works of the artist Saleh Karim with an imaginary objective structure in order to eliminate the space separating the subject from the subject and search for artistic impact through experience and the ability of perception and imagination with modern scientific knowledge.
