The Deanship of the Faculty of Fine Arts, represented by its dean, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, participated in the launch ceremony organized by the University of Basra Student Activities Department in the scientific supervision and evaluation system.the development course for the officials of the people of artistic and cultural activities in the Faculty of Arts, University of Basra, in the presence of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad al-Asadi.  
The ceremony included the recitation of any of the wise mentions and the national anthem, then a speech by the president of the University and some technical paragraphs, and at the end of the ceremony, honorary shields were distributed to the participating colleges.
