Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad Kazim, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, the esteemed. The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra – women's Affairs Unit organized a seminar on family violence and methods of Family Protection.
The workshop aims to introduce participants to the concept of violence, its causes and forms, in addition to presenting effective strategies for its prevention.
The seminar presented by presenter montazir Kazem Naama included the concept of violence and the use of force, reviewing the most important reasons leading to the use of violence, including economic, cultural and social factors.
