An MA thesis at Basra University discusses pictorial representations of science fiction in contemporary global formation

A master's thesis in the College of Fine Arts at Basra University discussed pictorial representations of science fiction in contemporary global formation.

The message presented by researcher Nour Abdul Karim Ghadban contains four chapters.

The first chapter included a study of science fiction in contemporary global formation as well as an account of terms that reach knowledge of pictorial representations of science fiction.

The second chapter followed the theoretical framework of the research, as it included the concept of imagination, science and scientific thinking, and then on the scientific and artistic production and contemplative imagination.

As for the third chapter, the final result was investigated by following the analytical description method. As the study was satisfied by observing the concepts of artistic formation, imagination and science, and analyzing the areas of overlap and interaction between them.

The fourth chapter contains the results of the research ... the most important of which is that digital technologies are one of the most important elements in building science fiction forms.

The aim of the research .. is to identify the images of science fiction represented in the contemporary global formation.

The research concluded .. Although scientific technology is widely used in constructing the perceptions of science fiction, the technical and aesthetic scientific in the visual construction remains based on the plastic and performance art approach.

The researcher recommends that attention should be paid to digital images, given that digital technologies are of great importance in producing science fiction topics.
