A master's thesis in the College of Fine Arts at Basra University examined aesthetic preference in the drawings of Basra children.
The thesis submitted by the student .. Abeer Ibrahim Fadel included four chapters .. The first chapter contained the research problem that revolves around the aesthetic preference of Basra children, while the second chapter included the theoretical framework, which contained three topics. As for the second topic, it dealt with the reflection of aesthetic preference in art and life. The third topic came about aesthetic preference in children's drawings, defining childhood and its importance in a child's life.
And the third chapter included (research procedures)
As for the fourth chapter, it included the most prominent results of the research .. where many children prefer to rely on the expressive value of lines in identifying shapes in particular.
It showed the importance of research ... in identifying aesthetic preference in the drawings of Basra children.
The research concluded .. Children's drawings in Basra were characterized by a clear convergence of spontaneity. In addition, there is an impact of the state of stability and peace on the paintings of Basra children.
