
A master's thesis in the College of Fine Arts at Basra University examined the ecological dimension in contemporary global formation.
The thesis presented by student Hadeel Iyad Makki included four chapters. The first chapter dealt with ecology as a contemporary intellectual and philosophical topic.
As for the second chapter, it was divided into three sections. The first topic dealt with the intellectual and aesthetic foundations of ecology, and the second topic included contemporary concepts of ecology and its processes. The third topic deals with ecology and contemporary arts by showing the technical and aesthetic dimension and applying its foundations in contemporary arts.
The third chapter represents the procedures related to the research community and the time period (1992-2018).
The fourth chapter contains the analytical study of a set of results, the most important of which are: Ecology interacts completely with art, and the last also depends on study, analysis, criticism and application.
It showed the importance of research, employing ecology as a theoretical and applied tool in analyzing contemporary artistic and plastic works.
The research concluded .. Ecological thought deals with the adaptive relationship between humans and the other of his species and the environment surrounding them.
