Under the auspices of the president of Basra University, Dr. Mohannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, the Continuing Education Unit organized a seminar entitled The positive and negative side of social media pages for students of Iraqi universities.
The seminar aims to raise students ' awareness on how to attract information that is published in social media networks and reserve some of the others.
The seminar presented by the teacher Ali Nouri included a discussion of the circulation of information among students, as well as the importance of those pages and what treatments limit the negative discourses of those publications.
