The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra participates in the activities of the Global Leadership week to support leukemia patients

The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra participated in a distinctive event within the International Entrepreneurship Week, where it held a diverse art exhibition that showcased the creations of students and professors from various artistic branches. The exhibition included outstanding works of art, including paintings, sculpture, ceramics, Arabic calligraphy, as well as the use of various materials that showed the high creative abilities of the participants.
The event was characterized by a cultural and artistic atmosphere that attracted visitors from various categories, and highlighted promising talents that reflect the spirit of innovation and creativity among college students. This activity aims to promote the concept of entrepreneurship and artistic creativity in the local community, focusing on the importance of the arts as a means of expression and positive impact.
It is worth mentioning that the proceeds of the exhibition and the accompanying events were fully dedicated to supporting leukemia patients at the children's hospital. The dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, stressed that this initiative comes within the framework of the college's social responsibility, pointing out that the arts are not only a means of expression, but an effective tool to support noble humanitarian causes.
This step comes to strengthen the partnership between the academic sector and the community, which contributes to spreading awareness of Health and humanitarian issues, and supports efforts to alleviate the suffering of patients and provide assistance to them.
