Under the patronage of the president of Basra University, Dr. Muhannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed.
As part of its humanitarian and social initiatives, the division of continuing education at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Basra, in cooperation with the Department of Plastic Arts, organized a visit to the children's hospital.
 The visit aims to provide moral support to Sick Children and to put a smile on their faces, as well as to distribute simple gifts as an expression of solidarity and attention.
A number of faculty professors from the Department of plastic arts participated in the visit, who expressed their human feelings through their direct interaction with the children, as the event included various paragraphs that added an atmosphere of joy and pleasure. Gifts were given to children as a simple symbol of joy, as well as expressing sincere wishes for a speedy recovery to them.
The organizers of the initiative pointed out the importance of such visits in promoting the human spirit and social solidarity, stressing the role of art in communicating with society and supporting groups in need of support.
