Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad al-Asadi, and the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra organized a personal exhibition of the artist Ghaith Abdul Kazim entitled "tangled lines".
The exhibition, which was held in the Great Exhibition Hall of the Faculty of Fine Arts, was opened by the dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, in the presence of a group of faculty teachers and staff.
The exhibition aims to shed light on the career of the artist Ghaith Abdul Kazim by reviewing his artworks that reflect his distinguished experience in the art of painting.
The exhibition included a set of paintings executed in black and white pencils, in addition to colored paintings in one color, using various materials, dealing with multiple topics, most notably portraiture.
The exhibition was praised by the attendees for his artistic creativity, highlighting the artist's capabilities in providing distinctive artistic visions that express the overlap of lines and ideas in a unique style.
