Under the patronage of the president of Basra University, Dr. Mohannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed. 
The Faculty of Fine Arts-University of Basra, in cooperation with the ways of recruitment Foundation and Tamkeen house for Youth Development, held a plastic exhibition whose paintings illuminated the sky of creativity with different artistic styles in the presence of the dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed and a number of faculty teachers, staff and students.
The exhibition aims to honor the heroism of those who sacrificed their lives for the sake of steadfastness to noble principles and values, and in defense of the Pure Land.
The exhibition included a number of artistic works such as impressionistic and realistic creativity, with the use of oil color techniques, pencil layout, and graphics.the event also included an exhibition of books and drawing tools in the College Gardens under the supervision of Professor Dr. Ali Sharif Al-saraifi.
