
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad Kazim, president of the University of Basra, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, the art education department at the faculty organized the second personal exhibition of student Zahra Ahmed under the title "the end of the beginning". The exhibition was held in the Department's Great Exhibition Hall, and was attended by a group of faculty teachers, staff and students.
The exhibition included a distinguished collection of artworks that reflected the development of student Zahra Ahmed's talent, as it included paintings executed in oil colors, in addition to a number of murals that carried a refined and distinctive artistic character. The production of these works was supervised by Assistant Teacher Ehsan Ali Hussein, teaching at the art education department, who played a pivotal role in guiding the student towards choosing artistic subjects that combine creativity and beauty.
In a statement, the dean, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, praised the efforts exerted by the student Zahra Ahmed in the preparation and implementation of her artworks, praising the fruitful cooperation between her and her academic supervisor, who contributed to highlighting the spirit of creativity and innovation in the paintings. He added that such exhibitions represent a valuable opportunity for college students to showcase their talents and highlight their artistic ideas to the public.
For her part, student Zahra Ahmed expressed her great pleasure in organizing her second exhibition, noting that the selection of topics came after in-depth research and discussions with her supervisor, who supported her in developing her ideas and achieving her artistic vision. She stressed that her works reflect different stages of her artistic experience over the past months, as she sought to convey visual messages that carry deep human and cultural meanings.
The exhibition concluded with a positive reaction from the attendees, who expressed their admiration for the works on display, stressing the importance of supporting talented students and encouraging them to continue creativity and giving in the artistic field.
