Under the patronage of the president of Basra University, Dr. Muhannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed. The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra, the division of continuing education, in cooperation with the Department of plastic arts at the College, organized a workshop on readings in Al-satlaif.
The seminar aimed to improve the abilities of plastic arts students to read and analyze the silent nature and identify the steps of work such as the choice of subject and the composition of the painting.
The seminar, which was attended by Dr. Zain al-Abidin Qais and the teacher Hashim Zaki Mohammed, included explaining some of the basic points, which in their entirety produced a distinguished artistic work.
