Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basra, Dr. Mohannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, the Faculty of Fine Arts, through the women's Affairs Unit, organized an awareness campaign under the slogan "Together to stop the brain.Drat", aimed at highlighting the dangers of drugs and their negative impact on the university community.
The campaign aimed to promote awareness among students about brain damage.Studies of various kinds, and their negative impact on mental and physical health, besides their impact on the education process and the university environment in general.
The campaign, led by engineer Dr. Saddam Abdul Jalil al-Mousawi, included a series of awareness-raising events and activities, including providing a detailed explanation of the types of brain.And its devastating impact on students. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of prevention and the role of society in combating this phenomenon by providing practical solutions, such as the rehabilitation centers available in Basra governorate, and their role in helping those affected to overcome this problem.
