The Department of Theatrical Arts at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra discussed a doctoral thesis by student Abdullah Hamid Muhammad al-Thamri, tagged (Multiple Identity in the Iraqi Theatrical Text after 2003 CE). The margin, by deconstructing the systems and the major centrality, also the researcher touched on identity in feminist criticism and the study of feminist discourse, because it is a discourse that gives women their effectiveness in creativity.

The thesis concluded,

The concept of identity occupies a central and essential position in the various political and social fields, and the concept is one of the most controversial fields of criticism, and this is due to the difference in the philosophical foundations with the multiplicity of conflicts and confrontations between the different identities, for example the research is a serious study to crystallize the multiplicity of identity in the Iraqi theatrical text after 2003 AD
