I researched a master's thesis in the College of Fine Arts at Basra University (Transformations of Significant Circulation of Contemporary Iraqi Painting) by Amani Qasim Abdul Nabi

The study dealt with the concept of the mark and its artistic mobility in the contemporary Iraqi formation by tracing the nature of its transformations, in terms of capacity for circulation, how it appears formally, and the meanings it bears that can be transformed over time.

The thesis dealt with a study of the concept of transformations and the mechanisms of his operation in the art of painting, in order to formulate according to their effect a system of analysis of the nature of scholarly transformations in contemporary Iraqi art.
