A master's thesis at Basra University discusses the cultural bodies and the structure of the actor's performance in the contemporary theatrical performance, an ethnographic study

In the Faculty of Fine Arts, Marla Hall, a master's thesis of graduate student Ali Muhammad Ubaid was discussed, tagged (The cultural bodies and structure of the actor's performance in the contemporary theatrical performance, an ethnographic study)

The aim of the research, which focused on identifying what cultural bodies are and their role in shaping the structure of the representative performance of the contemporary theater actor, through their representations in his body and through his work in the theater scene

The researcher drew the following conclusions

1- The cultural body is the main energy that contributes to the production of the actor's performance movement in the theatrical performance (sign, gesture, dance)

2- The representational performance varies according to the different cultural bodies belonging to different societies in terms of customs, traditions and references

A researcher recommended some points for what he sees in what serves and develops the movement of the product of contemporary theater in terms of cultural and intellectual construction. Then the researcher put forward some proposals based on the topics raised in his research process and at the end of the discussion the student obtained the degree of excellence
