Basra University organizes an art exhibition for doctoral students in plastic arts

Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad al – Asadi, and the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, the Department of plastic arts at the College organized an art exhibition for graduate students-PhD, within the framework of the lesson "studio".
The exhibition aims to highlight the possibilities of students in the field of plastic arts, and enhance their knowledge of the history of Contemporary International plastic art. This academic activity has invested in transforming one of the walls of the department into an informative and interactive space, combining artistic presentation and educational material.
The exhibition, supervised by Professor Dr. Nasser Samari, included a collection of paintings documenting the development of plastic art during the Renaissance, distributed over eight stages representing the most prominent movements and art schools. It also included additional display units (boxes) containing photos of artists and their names, to serve as a visual and educational reference for students of primary studies in the subject "history of art in the Renaissance".
The exhibition was attended by the dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, a number of professors of the department, and graduate students, who interacted with the exhibited works, which enhanced the visual and historical understanding of the development of plastic arts.
