A master's thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Basra University examined the play space and its impact on the performance of the Iraqi theater actor.
The thesis presented by researcher Israa Hadi Badawi aims to identify the artistic impact of the play space on the acting performance of the Iraqi theater actor.
The message included a discussion of the term space and synonyms, the most important of which is the play space, which can exist in conjunction with the term place, space or theatrical place.
The thesis concluded that one of the aspects of acting performance that is influenced by the play space is the element of improvisation, which allows the actor to establish a direct relationship with the recipient of the theatrical performance, as well as using the cultural heritage.
