The Department of Musical Arts at the College of Fine Arts held a lecture on the dangers of drug abuse and sports stimulants given by Assistant Professor Dr. Sabah Yassin.
Head of the Department of Musical Arts, Dr. Ali Mashari, said that the department, since the beginning of the current academic year, has initiated special lectures for students related to social and life matters.
  On his part, Dr. Sabah Yassin said that the lecture dealt with important topics about the dangers of drug abuse for young people and the harm of doping that directly affects physical health. These lectures come according to the directives of the Basra University Council.
