Under the auspices of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Nasser Samari Jaafar, the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra, Department of Plastic Arts, organized a special personal art exhibition for student Safa Mustafa Abdul Amir entitled blue ink in the presence of a wide academic and cultural presence.
The exhibition aims to represent the summary of an academic year full of artistic giving and creative experimentation, through which the student embodied the summary of her expressive experience in one color, blue, which turned into a deep window opening on overlapping human feelings, ideas saturated with meditation and symbolism.
The exhibition included a collection of works executed in the monochrome layout style, where Blue was used as the main color simulating the connotations of dream, memory and serenity. The themes varied between realism, still life and portraiture, through which the features of the artistic identity of the student emerged, who worked under the direct supervision of Dr. Ala Ali Ahmed, who accompanied the stages of her artistic development, and contributed to directing her experience towards a mature and expressive expression.
"Blue ink" was not just an art show, but a deep visual dialogue with the recipient, reflecting a growing artistic and cultural awareness, and emphasizing the importance of supporting young talents in an academic space that embraces ambition and gives art its chance to shine.
