
A master's thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra examined the role of directing energy catalysts in activating the levels of innovation for contemporary theatrical performance.
The message presented by the researcher Kawther Ahmed Makki aims to reveal the essence and motivation of the director's energy according to its innovation at the levels of his theatrical performances by activating its role within the multiplicity of directing styles of theatrical performance artistically and aesthetically.
The thesis included the topic of directing energy and its unique role, which seeks to clarify those stimuli and their levels through multiple methods in characterizing the theatrical relationships of its elements and the ranks of logical sequence.
The thesis concluded that the stimuli of the directing energy are a set of exceptional motives, abilities and perceptions that are artistically unique in theatrical expression and that are an urgent need for the director, whether subjective or objective.
