The thesis included the topic of black comedy in the global formation and the study of its intellectual dimensions in the works of international visual artists and the mechanisms and techniques adopted by these artists in their employment of comedy.
The thesis concluded that any work of black comedy can be understood only by knowing the intellectual dimensions on which the work was based.
