Supplication was not a request for money or an attitude, but a request for knowledge. Darkness and knowledge, as the Messenger of mankind, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said (an obligation for every Muslim man and woman), because of his awareness of the position of science and its importance in the renaissance of the nation and its development over time and expanding the individual's perceptions and his ability to understand, comprehend, comprehend, analyze, and look at the subject or issue from more than one angle. In the human and social sciences, which play an important role in the development of society and raising its capabilities and aesthetic taste, the fine arts sector, with all its specializations, raises itself to declare an important figure in the equation of life and its knowledge balance and to constitute an indispensable scientific presence
 The College of Fine Arts at Basra University seeks to present rules for scientifically sober academic art that elevates the recipient’s taste by introducing art science, which plays an important role in preserving the Iraqi identity in its civilizational and cultural dimensions. As well as opening the doors of dialogue for technical and knowledge exchange with the artistic, cultural and social institutions in the city to promote development and consolidate the constructive language of discourse for the orientation of the future
 Through science, the requirements of development plans are crystallized to create an artistic and cultural environment consistent with the original social values ​​that promote societal behavior, so that science provides its community services by providing consultations, technical and academic services to all governmental and private state institutions
Therefore, science earns the individual and the institution self-respect, appreciation and prestige
And the individual makes life easier and volunteers everything to his service through nature and technology, so everything becomes within his reach
Finally, we find that science builds strong, cohesive and self-sufficient societies, which is what we are working on to obtain an educated, conscious, educated artist who can advance society economically, industrially, culturally and technically.
