Under the patronage of the President of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kanani, the College of Fine Arts, in cooperation with the Traffic Department in Basra, held a lecture on the concepts of traffic awareness on the college’s continuing education hall. The lecture aims to spread the concepts of traffic awareness, which includes various messages for traffic rules and the cooperation provided by traffic officers to reduce road hazards and secure the safety of citizens as well as adhere to traffic rules and laws.
The lecture, which was attended by a number of employees and teaching staff, recommended the creation of a spirit of citizenship and concern, as well as education, awareness and adherence to instructions and laws, as well as training on first aid for the vehicle driver, reducing speed and not using a mobile phone while driving the vehicle, not to mention cooperating with a traffic man on the street.
