Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Nasser Samari Jafar, the continuing education unit, in cooperation with the Department of film and television at the Faculty of Fine Arts, organized an art seminar entitled "The contribution of the artist's imagination to enrich the recipient in the design of composite creatures".
The seminar aims to highlight the role of creative imagination in enriching the recipient's experience, in particular in the field of designing Composite Creatures, which represents one of the most important areas of visual innovation in Contemporary Arts.
The seminar, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Wasfi Faleh Obaid, included the importance of imagination as a pivotal element in the formulation of new artistic visions, indicating its methods in imparting aesthetic and expressive dimensions that give the artwork added value and deeper visual interaction for the recipient. He also reviewed a set of Applied examples that highlight the role of imagination in creating innovative designs that go beyond the ordinary and open up new horizons for creativity.
