Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Nasser Samari Jafar, the University Psychological Counseling Unit at the Faculty of Fine Arts organized an awareness-raising dialogue session entitled "me and my art... to urge students to commitment and responsibility in the performance of duties".
The session aims to consolidate the concept of art among students as a tool for developing awareness and creativity, and enhancing the spirit of responsibility and commitment in their university life.
The session, presented by teacher Dr. Nozhat Ahmed Jabbar, included a comprehensive review of the most important fields of art and various methods of expression, highlighting the role of Arts in human development and building a more tasteful and beautiful society, in addition to motivating students to employ their artistic talents in upgrading their academic and creative behavior.
