"The role of women in achieving integration between work and family"
Under the auspices of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Nasser Samari Jaafar, the women's Affairs Unit at the Faculty of Fine Arts organized an awareness seminar entitled "The role of women in achieving integration between work and family".
The seminar aimed at enhancing the awareness of working women of the importance of achieving a balance between their professional responsibilities and their family role, in addition to clarifying the concept of integration between work and family life to ensure that personal and societal requirements are met in a balanced manner.
The seminar, which was presented by: A.M.Dr. Roula Abdelilah Alwan, A.M.Dr. Ala Ali Ahmed and teacher Amani Kazem hijol presented a set of important topics, most notably: supporting women in their multiple roles, strengthening laws and legislations that support working women, spreading awareness of the dual role of women, in addition to discussing mechanisms for breaking stereotypes associated with their participation in the labor market.
