Under the auspices of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Nasser Samari Jafar, the educational and psychological counseling unit at the Faculty of Fine Arts organized a training workshop entitled "Art is one language... diversity in expression and unity in creativity".
The workshop aims to enhance the awareness of students and guests about the culture of the artistic genre and to consolidate the values of creativity as a common language that transcends geographical and cultural boundaries.
The workshop, presented by Prof. Dr. Yassin, Amy Nasser and assistant professor Dr. Wasfi Faleh Obaid, also addressed a set of ideas and visions that shed light on what art is and the diversity of its styles and schools around the world, stressing the importance of openness to various artistic experiences as a source of inspiration and the development of aesthetic taste.
