Under the auspices of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Nasser Samari Jafar, the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra, through the psychological counseling unit, organized a seminar entitled "Art is one language... diversity in expression and unity in creativity".
The seminar aimed to shed light on the therapeutic aspects of the arts, especially in theater and music, by discussing applied experiences that illustrate the role of the Arts in supporting mental health and self-expression.
The seminar, presented by Professor Dr. Hazem Abdul Majid and attended by Assistant Professor Dr. moibed Khalaf Rashid and assistant teacher Bashar Saleh Mahdi, included a number of topics related to psychological counseling from the musical and theatrical perspectives, explaining how art and music contribute to enhancing psychological stability and considering them as effective and effective expressive tools.
