Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad al – Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Nasser Samari Jafar, the Faculty of Fine Arts – Department of art education-opened an art exhibition entitled “educational aids”.
The opening of the exhibition witnessed the presence of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dr. Nasser Samari Jafar, his scientific and administrative assistants, members of the Ministerial Committee in charge of assessing the scientific and academic reality, in addition to the head of the art education department, and a number of faculty teachers, staff and students.
The exhibition was held under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Saif al-Din al-Hamdani, and aims to highlight the results of the students of the art education department within the subject of the curriculum theater, through the use of educational means with creative artistic methods that contribute to supporting the educational process and developing teaching methods.
The exhibition included various works of art that reflected the students 'creative abilities in transforming concepts and curricula into innovative educational means, which contribute to simplifying information and enhancing interaction within the educational environment, in line with the college's orientations in linking the theoretical aspect with the practical and developing students' artistic and pedagogical skills.
This exhibition is part of a series of scientific and artistic activities that the Faculty of Fine Arts is keen to establish in support of the educational process and to enhance the role of art in community service and education.
