Under the direct supervision of the Deanship of the Faculty of Fine Arts, represented by Professor Dr. Nasser Samari Jafar, the Department of musical arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts held a ceremony to honor the first students for the academic year 2024-2025, in conjunction with the reception of new students, in recognition of the efforts of outstanding students and to encourage their academic and artistic career.
The ceremony was held in the presence of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dr. Nasser Samari Jafar, his scientific and administrative assistants, members of the Ministerial Committee in charge of assessing the scientific and academic reality, as well as the head of the Department of musical arts, a number of faculty teachers, staff and students, and a gathering of college students and families of honored students.
The ceremony began with the reading of the national anthem, followed by words of congratulations and encouragement delivered by the dean of the College, Dr. Nasser Samari Jafar, and the head of the Department of musical arts, Dr. Qais Odeh, stressing the importance of scientific excellence and the role of students in upgrading the academic and artistic level of the college, and the need to continue giving and creativity. As well as honoring the professors of the department who received scientific promotions.
The ceremony included the presentation of outstanding musical performances by the professors of the department and its students, which reflected the level of artistic and skilled performance enjoyed by The Musical Arts staff, and concluded its activities with the distribution of awards and certificates of appreciation to the first students, amid a festive atmosphere that expressed pride in their achievements and support for their future educational career.
