The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra, represented by the Continuing Education Unit, organized an attendance seminar entitled "ceramic paste work", as part of its programs aimed at developing technical skills and enhancing applied aspects among participants.
The seminar aims to introduce participants to the basics of ceramic art and forming techniques, develop manual skills in dealing with various materials, as well as enhance the spirit of creativity through experimentation with various forms, methods and techniques.
The seminar included practical lectures given by Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Dahi Abdul Karim, teacher Nourse Hamid Majid, and teacher Amani Kazem hijol, during which the mechanisms of preparing ceramic paste and introducing the steps of work were explained, with the implementation of simplified models in front of the audience, contributing to the consolidation of the practical and cognitive side of this art.
