The thesis presented by the researcher (Zaid Ismail Youssef) aims to reveal the representations of the theory of relativity in contemporary world painting, which did not take a sufficient share of the study, especially plastic art.
The thesis included the topic of the theory of relativity and how it was represented in contemporary world painting, its intellectual dimensions, mechanisms and techniques adopted by artists in their employment of it in their works.
The thesis concluded that the theory of relativity contributed to supporting the materialist trend in art, but it was presented within New formative visions, and succeeded in many art schools.
