A master's thesis at the University of Basra examines "the transformations of justice in the performances of the Iraqi theater"

A master's thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra examined "the transformations of the gist in the performances of the Iraqi theater".
The thesis presented by the researcher (memory of Omar Abbas al-Asadi) aims to study the transformations that have occurred in the employment of the guest in the performances of the Iraqi theater and to reveal its semantic, aesthetic and intellectual dimensions
The thesis included the study of all the references and intellectual trends that contributed to the intellectual transformation of man, discovering himself and knowing the extent of his relationship with others and the phenomena of the universe, and from here man began to enter a complex semiotic world thanks to the concept of the sign.
The dissertation concluded that the gist has become a central analytical tool in reading Iraqi performances, as it enabled the researcher to reveal the dialectical relationship between performance and meaning, and between aesthetic thought and physical representation, as the transformations of the gist were manifested through the Iraqi director's vision of the theatrical performance as a system of interacting signs reproduced visually and semantically in proportion to the consciousness of the contemporary recipient .
